Paneer peas masala

Paneer peas masala:

 

Ingredients:

 

  1. Paneer                         -           200 gm
  2. Peas                               -           100 gm
  3. Capsicum                    -           2
  4. Onion                            -           2
  5. Tomato                        -           2
  6. Ginger garlic paste   -           2 tsp
  7. Chili powder               -           2 tsp
  8. Garam masala            -           2 tsp
  9. Turmeric powder     -           ½ tsp
  10. Salt                                  -           1 tsp
  11. Mustard seeds            -           1 tsp

 

Method:

 

Finely chop onion and tomato.

Cut paneer into small cubes.

Cut capsicum into small sizes.

 

Keep kadai in medium flame and pour oil.

Add mustard seeds and wait till they splutter.

Then add tomato, onion, capsicum and fry them well till onion light brown.

Then add garam masala, turmeric powder, chili powder, ginger garlic paste, salt, urud dal powder.

Add little water.

Fry them well till oil separates from oil.

Then add peas and add 100 ml water.

Cook them for 3 minutes.

Remove the vessel from flame.

Finally add paneer and mix them well.

Hot paneer peas masala is ready.

 

 

Tomato Rasam

Tomato Rasam
 
Ingredients:

Ripe tomatoes – 500 gms
red chillies – 3
fresh coconut, grated- 1 Tblsp.
asafoetida – a pinch
Salt, jaggery for taste.
Oil – 1 Tsp.
mustard seeds – 1/4 tsp.
Fry in a little oil and pound coarsely:
Coriander seeds – 1 1/2 Tblsp.
Cumin seeds – 1 Tsp.
Pepper – 1/2 tsp.

Method:

Chop and grind the tomatoes in a mixer. Strain well to remove seeds and skin. DiIute with water. Add red chillies, crushed ingredients, asafoetida, salt and jaggery. Heat till boiling point. Season with mustard seeds spluttered in oil. Remove from fire and close a lid on it. Just before serving strain well, reheat and then serve hot.
