Infosys has asked its AEs[Assistant Engineers] who have been on bench for long time, to attend internal interview for BPO jobs. If they dont pass or attend the internal BPO interview, they will be terminated. At the same time, they have been given option to move back to IT projects after 2 years working with BPO field.
These people have been recruited for IT jobs. but there is no project requirements in their respective units and so they have been on bench for long time. To cope with current economic situation and to maximum utilize their resources, infosys has come up with this idea.
It was reported that Infosys bangalore DC’s people have been sent email regarding this.
